ADAMAPPS LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MarketCast application and the website at marketcast.co. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application on any supported platform (Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast with Google TV) or visit our website.
We take your privacy seriously. We are committed to collecting only the data necessary to provide you with a functional and reliable stock portfolio experience. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application or website.
When you sign in to MarketCast, we use third-party authentication provided by Google, Amazon or Apple, depending on your platform, or a one-time code sent to your email address when you sign in on our website. Through this sign-in process, we receive and store your name and email address. This information serves as your unique account identifier and allows us to associate your portfolio data with your account.
MarketCast stores the stock portfolios and watchlists you create within the app. This data is stored securely in the cloud so that it can be synchronized across your devices. Your portfolio data includes stock ticker symbols, portfolio names, and your organizational preferences.
If you choose to connect a brokerage account (a Premium feature), we use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to make the connection. You sign in to your brokerage through Plaid, and MarketCast never sees or stores your brokerage username or password. Through Plaid we receive read-only information about your investment accounts: the institution and account names, the last four digits of account numbers, account types, and your holdings (ticker symbols, security names, quantities, cost basis and values). We use it only to show your holdings and portfolio value in MarketCast and to keep the lists made from your accounts up to date. MarketCast cannot place trades, move money or make any change at your brokerage. Plaid's handling of your data is described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy, and by connecting an account you agree to it.
You can disconnect a brokerage at any time from your account at account.marketcast.co. When you do, we revoke our access through Plaid, stop syncing and delete the holdings we stored from that connection. Lists created from it stay in your account as ordinary lists, and your past daily portfolio totals stay until you delete your account.
Some versions of MarketCast include voice search functionality that allows you to look up stocks by speaking. When you use this feature, your voice recording is processed in real time to interpret your query. These recordings are used for one-time processing only and are not stored by MarketCast. If you use our Google Action, your voice interactions are also subject to Google's privacy policy.
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data about how visitors interact with our website. This includes information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, browser type, and referring URLs. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. We use this information to understand how our website is used and to improve the user experience.

Your account data is stored on secure servers, the access tokens for connected brokerage accounts are encrypted at rest, and sign-in is handled either through established providers (Google, Amazon or Apple), which maintain their own robust security practices, or with a one-time code sent to your email address that expires after 10 minutes.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to maintaining industry-standard protections.
We retain your account information and portfolio data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you wish to have your data deleted, you can submit a request through our data removal page. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will remove your personal information and portfolio data from our servers within a reasonable timeframe.
