A Stock Ticker for Your Home Office TV

Home / Guides / A Stock Ticker for Your Home Office TV

If you trade or invest from home, you probably have monitors for charts and orders. The market overview does not need a monitor. A TV on the wall can carry it, and keep your monitors free for the work.

A second screen that is not a monitor

MarketCast turns a TV into an always-on market screen: a ticker tape along the bottom, your stocks on the Home dashboard, and a Stream that cycles through prices, charts and headlines on its own. No window to keep open and nothing to resize.

Set it up and leave it

  1. Plug a Fire TV Stick, Google TV Streamer or Apple TV into the TV, or use a TV that already runs Google TV or Android TV.
  2. Install MarketCast from the TV's app store.
  3. Scan the QR code with your phone to add your stocks.
  4. Pick the Stream and let it run.

Make it yours with Premium

Premium adds real-time stock prices, crypto around the clock, no commercials, and the ability to customize the stream and the ticker tape, plus scenes like the Stock Wall and Market Desk. The free app is a good way to see how it looks on your wall first.

Common questions

Can I trade from it?

No. MarketCast displays market information. It does not connect to brokerage accounts or place trades.

Is it only for a home office?

MarketCast is designed for your own TV. If you want to run screens for a firm or an office, see MarketCast Enterprise, which is in early access.

Does it replace my charting software?

No. It is a glanceable market overview, not a charting or analysis platform.
